Ascoli offers various folk-historical, cultural and sports shows. But even in the inland or on the coast every village has, usually in summer, its chivalrous joust, its historical evocation in costume, its particular recurrence which take origin from fable, history and folklore. These ancient heartfelt traditions, heathen or Christian, legendary or historical, bring back to geographically and culturally composite realities.
