It is found in the Episcopio Building and includes the Roverella Palace where Marcello Fogolino from Vicenza painted the wall-fresco "The Stories of Moses" in 1574. It was founded in 1961 and has several paintings by Cola dell'Amatrice and Pietro Alemanno (XV and XVI century) on display.
There are furthermore paintings, sculptures and gold inlay works from the Marche and Abruzzo Regions from the XIV and XV cent. and other artists from later centuries. The museum also hosts sections of frescoes, taken from St. Vittore (XII-XIII cent.) and St. Vincenzo and St. Anastasio (XIII-XIV cent.) churches - not neglecting contemporary artists.
Re-opened on 1st June 1995, the visiting hours are: Tuesdays and Saturdays from 10-12 a.m. The museum may be visited on other weekdays providing one makes a preious booking by phone at: La Curia Vescovile (Tel.no. 0736-259901).
